General Conditions:

Payment:

To secure a reservation, a 50% advance payment of the B&B rates is required. For one-night reservations and camping bookings, 100% advance payment is mandatory.

The remaining balance for accommodation, food, guided tours, and other services can be paid at the end of your stay. All bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the sender.

Accepted Payment Methods:

Non-accommodation fees and expenses can be paid in Tanzanian Shillings (preferred), Euros, USD, or via electronic bank transfers (subject to the hotel’s exchange rates).

Please note: Due to local banking restrictions, USD notes dated prior to 2006 cannot be accepted.

Cancellation Policy:

Non-Refundable Deposits:

Down payments of 50% or less are non-refundable for all bookings.

Payments of 100% are non-refundable for:

One-night stays or camping bookings.

Group bookings.

Reservations secured by Tour Operators.

Refund Conditions:

For cancellations made more than 14 days before the start of your booking, 50% down payments are refundable minus banking costs.

For cancellations made 14 days or less before the booking date, no refund is possible.

Final Payment Notes:

Although invoices are issued in USD, final payment is preferred in Tanzanian Shillings. Payment in USD, via bank transfer, or PayPal is also accepted, with a fair exchange rate provided by the hotel.

Additional Charges:

All rates are exclusive of the following mandatory fees:

Tourist Development Levy (TDL): $1.50 per night.

Village Development Fund (VDF): $1.50 per night.

Compliance with European Regulations:

All transactions comply with EU consumer protection laws, ensuring transparency in payment terms, refund policies, and any additional fees.

Guests from the European Economic Area (EEA) are entitled to rights under applicable EU directives, including clear communication on cancellation terms and payment methods.
